This is the main fuse from the battery that feeds the fuse box etc , take out the fuse and holder and check for signs of corrosion on the terminals , any worn wires etc as to blow this size fuse must be shorting to earth , when does the fuse blow ? if it is on start up then the starter could be pulling to many amps so would need replacing , if it's when driving i'd have the alternator charge rate checked as well . that gives you a few things to get on with , keep me posted if you wish

Sounds like a short in the system. you will need to inspect the wiring and posably, bench test the starter. Check the cables to the battery. Make sure the wires and the battery are in good shape.

Well there are alot of things on this fuse that could cause this concern. Door opening switches, clock, radio, all the interior lamps but the most common areas would be the vanity mirrors or the door opening switches. The LG/Y wire is the wire on these that you are concerned with.
The vanity mirrors would be my first area I would look at. Remove them and trace the LG/Y wire back and see if it is pinched or scrapped so that a bare wire is touching metal. If you see nothing there then remove the door switches on the a pillars in the door opening and check the same wire.

I had a persistent problem of hill light warning and TCS warning lights coming on for no apparent reason. There is a wire connection between the stop light switch and the control unit to let the system know when brakes are being applied. Changing the stop light switch cured it. The replaced switch was certainly sticking and the new one was of a different design. Replaced it myself as switch comes with a wiring loom. Need to get on your back under the steering wheel! Not very expensive. My car 2001 TD4
