it only means that your elecrical system on your running light was grounded thats why everytime you switch on the running light the fuse blown. The only solution to that is to find out where the line was shorted or grounded. you must start tracing it from your switch going down the elecrical line going to the fuse, relay and lights. That's it, good luck then.!!!
I was going to say the dash and running lights run off a singular fuse, replace it just in case, also check under the hood, there is another control board under there. possibly a relay might be at fault, worst case, the light switch is faulty. Good luck
Hi its rob here what make and model of car is it? it sounds like the light switch is faulty but that wouldnt stop the brake lights workin try two stop and tail light bulbs then if you have stop lights your switch is at fault
Sounds like a blown fuse. check manual for the location of fuse box. There should be a diagram , what runs what. Just replace the right one. good luck DFD
You have POSSIBLY 1. Headlight Switch bad
2. Disconnected or Corroded Ground in trunk
3. Make Absolutly sure the tail lamp FUSE is good
These are realy the only things I would suspect , Because Brakelights and Reverse lights are on
Different Curcits.
