SOURCE: 2002 jeep liberty siren whining noise on start up

I had the same problem at about the same mileage. Replaced the power steering pump and the start up screaming went away! ( The Jeep's and mine!)

SOURCE: Whining Noise

Hi, this sound is most likely coming from the power steering pump. I would first, check the power steering fluid level to see if it is full. if its not at the full mark, add some fluid. If the fluid reservoir is full upon inspection and the whining continues, the pump may be damaged and the pulley on the power steering pump could be slightly out of sync with the pump housing.

The second issue could be belt slippage. i would do a tension check on the drive belt and pulleys as well. make sure there isn't any ware and tare on the belt and make sure the tension is to specs.

Please rate and god bless:)

SOURCE: whining noise when engaging 1st or reverse.

i had a nissan pickup that would whine in all gears except 4th...it started out with 1st then reverse then went to the rest...solution was new transmission...or rebuild cause the syncronizers or the gears them selves are being chewed up...the new transmission was cheaper then a rebuild. or take it to somewhere that will do free diag on the transmission.

SOURCE: My brake pedal slowly goes to the floor and the

wellyou may have one of a couple of different problems.
1. if you have recently wrked on the brake system you have air in the system and need to bleed it.

2. if you are lossing fluid you have a leak in a line or caliper or rear brake cylnder

3. your Master cylender is going bad

your engine is making noise do to the power boost on the brakes being maxed out

Can someone please help with Torque Settings on a Nissan Navara 2017, 2.3 diesel turbo please?

Once you get the words in the right order to form the search query, you need to add the word of the part you want the torque setting for. The problem is the all the weighting is given to the torque that the engine produces and is normally right next to the horsepower

https://www.google.com/search?q=2017+Nissan+Navara%2C+2.3+turbo+diesel%2C+Torque+Settings

So insert 'wheel nuts', 'cylinder head' etc HERE

2017 Nissan Navara, 2.3 turbo diesel, HERE Torque Settings

Example for 'cylinder head'......

BMW whine noises 70mph

Hello Robert Anderson,

I always ask the color when my friends are describing their car... and immediately ask the interior color too...
It helps me imagine their following sumptuous description...
Twin-turbos, 8 speed automatic, Walnut grain...
fuzzy DICE... Plastic idols affixed to the dash (etc.)...
all helps in the visualizations

but... for your car I imagine a noise.

Okay... a 70 mph whine usually means the rear end differential gears have gotten out of alignment.

It could mean a few other things... but that is the biggie!

Hope this helps!

Have a jaguar diesel with 63 000 miles on it . turbo whine been noticed

Some whine is not really a problem and is not worth the cost to replace the turbo. You have more than likely heard trucks with turbo whine and they don't worry about it. If the whine is really loud then the turbo has a worn bearing and it will need to be replaced in the near future or it will seize up eventually.
