It will be bolted around the bellhousing /gearbox area ,try a good battery off of another car first no jump leads .a battery may appear good with volts and all that but reserve amperage to turn the engine over is another matter

That diagram is internal. It is inside the steering wheell hub. The entire turn signal switch will more than likely need replacing. It is a pretty difficult procedure for an for a novice mechanic.. You have to disable the airbag system before removing steering wheel. Buy a manul for the car and you may be able to achieve this. Good luck I hope this solves you problem. Please post a solved comment on fixya, so I recieve credit for the solve. This will increase my ranking on That is how I get paid. By knowing I am helping someone!!!!

Renault megan 1998 diffucult to get into 1 st gear

Hi, My postmans Megane has the same grief, I tried changing the power steering fluid but made it worse, looks like the pump itself.
If your clutch is heavy to then the cable is possibly stretched and needs replacing.
Oh Make sure there aren't any carpets under the clutch stopping the full travel of your pedal.
Good Luck.
