Question about 2003 Chevrolet Malibu
Replacing fuel pump
Whoa! That rear seat access doesn't exist on my '03 malibu, sure wish it did. I have that feature on my 02 Stratus, but of course the fuel pump hasn't failed on it. I recently changed the sending unit in my '03 Malibu, the classic way, jacked it up, dropped the tank and swapped it out (sounds easy but I had to cuss it several times).

The fuel pump should be under back seat after you remove seat lift carpet there is an access panel remove that next you should see ring that holds pump in tank spin this to remove unplug pump and replace
