Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Coupe
I have a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse and my ac stop putting out cold air. I recharged it last summer with the Ez chill and it worked all summer fine. Now this summer it's doing it again. I went to use the EZ chill this time and its says its in the red zone on there gauge. Saying its over filled and there could be a problem. What could be the problem?
If you overcharged your ac, it will not get cold. It should take about a can and 3/4 max. Do this first, it probably has too much air in it. Since you don't have a vacuum pump, let some of the gas on the low side. You will feel the air coming out is not cold, but keep releasing until the gas coming out is cold. Now you have taken most of the air out. The gauge should be no more than between the blue and the yellow. If the low side gauge remain high, then you probably have a bad expansion valve.
