my steering wheel is locked up...called service they said to retry till it unlocked..what is wrong with it? Its a 2006 BMW 3 series.

Have you parked the car with the wheels turned fully one way , or is the wheel hitting the kerb
If so you will need to rock the steering wheel from side to side as you turn the key so that you take the weight off the pin which locks the steering wheel
