I have a 2005 Lexus IS300 and I noticed water leaking on the passenger side every time I turn the heater on and it's only done this sence it started raining here in Oregon how do I fix this?its leaking...

Don't drive the vehicle in this condition. Interior water leaks can damage vital components such as the ECU.
Check the heater matrix, which is situated in the centre of the interior of the car, up behind the dashboard, roughly behind where the stereo is located. It is surrounded by block, plastic shields, which have to be removed to get to it.
If this heater matrix is leaking, then you will have to replace it ASAP, or otherwise risk overheating, or flooding expensive and critical components within the vehicle.

If it only leaks with the heater on and air-con off, then the heater matrix is your likely suspect.
If you have a leak with the air-con on only, then check your air-conditioning evaporator unit's drain pipe for security and for any blockages.

Noticed a trail of water when I got home from work tonight . all guages are reading fine. live in new england and very heavy fog tonight. there are no noticable problems and just had a tune up last week

did you have your air conditioning on? if so, it is condensation dripping from the evaporator core, underneath around the firewall area. this is normal.

97 land cruiser wet carpet passenger side . have blown clear sun roof drain vents ..air con is dripping ok pipe outside floor pan coolant usage smell to wet carpet ... dried carpet drove last...

Does the car have climate control air/con?If so,air/con may still be coming on at different times.I would double check the air/con drip tray.Sometimes it has 2 pipes if the tray has split levels. One may still be blocked.(Does the car have a built in fridge?)Hope this may help

Water dripping inside car

It sounds like you have a drain stopped up on the air conditioner system. You have to get under the vehicle prefferably with it on a lift and clean out drain.

Lossing water

My guess is, it's warm where you are -- correct?

Further, I speculate you've been running your A/C.

The water you see is condensate dripping from the A/C -- normal condition.

Y-reg Mondeo Estate with no heating

blockage in water pipes ,remove the two water pipes and try flushing through with a hose and make sure the water flows ,if this doesnt cure problem check the vacumn pipes that feed the flaps that allow the air to flow through the heater matrix.your mechanic hasnt had the experience and your local ford garage only employs 18yr old morons because anyone with any inteligence doesnt become a grease monkey as they realise that their is no future in it or decent wages.only dirty hands and you get looked down upon because you cant get the diesel oil out from under your nails.a doctor buries his mistakes mine come back ??

Leaking water feom car

This is almost certainly water that has condensed from the atmosphere and is dripping from the condenser of your A/C unit. This is totally normal and nothing to be concerned about.
