It means you injectors are clogging up (Sprays gas in motor) Go to parts store...Buy bottle throttle spray...not carburetor spray because it eats your rubber ceils up. Take the air duct loose from carb. While accelerating you gas throttle with your hand spray the bottle throttle spray directly into carburetor. As the car trys to stall let go of the spray...Repeat 3 or 4 times.......Ive seen the engine light go back off after doing this...It will get to your injectors and clean them...Ive done this alot myself and what a diffrents. Its works alot bettef that just adding injector fluid to gas...Promise

1989 toyota pickup front disk brake pads replaced, now the front calipers wont clear the new disk brake pads! Any solutions, please?

remove caliper, push disc all way home, put wheel nut on to hold home, retry fitting them the disc may be slightly scued. If no go try diffrent brand of pad I had same prob with a diffrent car last week & diffrent brand pad was 2mm thiner. If can't exchange pads get piece of emery paper on flat surface & sand away top part of pad material in round motions both ways till they fit. :-)

Front end shakes

Several things could cause this. Look at the inner tie rod end bushings. They are behind the engine block and are easy to replace. You can check this by holding onto the tie rods and seeing if they move back and forth. If not, the go to the tire. Holding the tire at 9 and 3 (clock times) try to shake it back and forth. If there is a lot of play (movement) This could point to either your lower ball joint/control arm assembly, or your outer tie rod ends. Both of these fixes are pretty easy if you know how to work on cars at all, but you will need to get it alligned after you are done doing the work. Also, if the lower ball joint assembly is out, a lot to times you will feel a clunk in the break pedal like your breaks are releasing at diffrent times. (you can also hear a clunk.) I have more ideas, but this is a good place to start because the parts aren't too expensive. If you need advice on replacing these parts, I can give you a hand with that too. Good luck.

Want to replace front break pads

biggest difference is you should loosen the bleeder screw to press the caliper piston back in, otherwise you could damage the abs actuator, and do not disturb the wiring or sensor

Timing belt marks

The crank pulley should have a mark that is approx 12 o clock with an arrow on the block. Both cams should have marks,'I' for the rear cam and E for the front, and the dowel pins (in the end of each cam)AND the marks on the cam pullies will be 12 o clock with the back cover. Be SURE you TORQUE the crankshaft bolt to 120 ft lbs.
