Isn't there coil packs on that? Replace just the boot if you can get it, or the coil pack. If it is wires, you should replace them all.

Idles rough cylinders 13 and 5 have spark to the plug but it makes no difference when I unplug them

couple of possibilities one is that the spark plugs themselves are grounding the insufficient gap so it's not actually generating a spark other possibility is the spark plug boot or tube is our King instead of the spark plug I had two similar situation on a6 cylinder car one of them the piston ended up touching the spark plug and broke the gap another one was that the spark plug boot the long boot going into the cylinder head itself had a voltage Leak and was arching against the cylinder head good luck

06 cobalt error code number 1 cylinder

My dad had a similar issue with his 2003 Vibe. Something broke and oil was leaking in to the spark plug and keeping it from igniting properly fusing the cylinder. The car still runs but with one less cylinder, talk to your dealership to fix the issue.

What tools would I use to change spark plugs and wires?

you will need a 5/8 size spark plug socket, with a 3/8" ratchet, and a 4 - 6" extenstion to remove the plugs, and the wires can be pulled off at the spark plug boot, just twist the boot back and forth a little, and then pull them off, sometimes you will need a spark plug wire boot puller, this is very inexpensive, and can be purchased at a auto part store, replace only 1 spark plug and wire at a time, this way you wont get the wires mixed up. also it is recommendable since escorts have alluminum heads to replace the plugs when the engine is cold.

Spark plugs in a 2003 Cadilliac Seville need to be replace, how difficult?

It's not difficult at all. You have to remove the big manifold cover. Once that is off, then the spark plugs should be easy to get to. remember to twist the spark plug boot 1/2 turn then pull on the boot. 11 Ft/Lbs of torque when you install.

Need to kb\now how to change spark plugs on my 2001 sonata

Follow these steps on how to replace thespark plugs. 1. First, you turn off the Sonataengine and allow it to cool. This normally takes about 30 minutes. 2. Raise the hood and locate thespark plug cables along the side of the engine. Spark plug cables are normally1/4 to 1/2 inch thick and plug directly into the engine. 3. Grasp the cable by its boot. This is the thicker piece that covers the spark plug or spark plug well. Turnthe cable back and forth until the lock releases. Pull back on the cable toremove it. Complete the replacement process for each plug before moving on tothe next. Slide the socket, extension and wrench over the spark plug. Turn thewrench to the left to unscrew and remove the plug from the engine. Spark plugsockets have a cushion inside that grab the end of the plug to hold it inplace. 4. Clean the well and boot withthe wire brush. Do not rub hard on the well or boot or it will cause damage.Spray silicon in the boot and on the spark plug threads, so you can easilyremove the spark plug the next time. 5. Insert the socket into the welland gently thread it into the engine. Test the tension with the tester. Thetension a spark plug needs varies by plug manufacturer. Check the package tofind the correct tension. If you need more tension, tighten the spark plug. Forless, loosen or unscrew the plug. 6. Place the cable back onto thespark plug. Repeat Steps 2 through 7 for the other plugs. Work your way downone side of the engine and then down the other as you replace or clean thespark plugs. This are the things you need for the job, 16mm spark plug socket,Socket wrench with extension, Wire brush, Silicon spray, New spark plug,Tension tester

No spark on 87 silverado

Have you pulled the sparkplug wire off the #1 plug. and use a spare plug into the boot. Becareful at this point it will shock you. Turn the car over and see if there is a spark created from the spare plug. The Silverado's have a few fuseable links they are inline of certian wires. You might have a bad fuseable link. You also need to check Grounding points and ground wires. If they are rusted or broke it can prevent your system from making a complete circuit . Time to chase wire with a voltage tester. checking sections of wire at a time. with out being there to look over the system. That are a few suggestions.
