Question about 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra
Car starts and runs find for a few minutes and then dies. When I looked at clear fuel filter there is no gas in it. Assumed it was a weak fuel pump and replaced the pump. Same thing happens. I also checked all of the fuel lines for restrictions--none found.
Could it possibly be a clogged vent?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
To check the pump diconnect the fuel line & place bucket under it to catch the fuel & turn ignition on DONT START IT!
if it continues pumping thats ok!
if tank is blocked, when you open gas fileeer it will have pressure as you relese the cap & that will tell you it blocked
