It should be on the out put shaft housing on the transmission on the drivers side. The sensor has one bolt holding it on and a wire harness held on by a clip connector. Good luck and hope this helps.

What controls the fan clutch speed on a 06 dodge ram2500 diesel lone star hwen the a/c is turned on?

the fan clutch is controlled by heat, there is no electronics that control it.

it is set when its made at what temp it comes on and goes off, it is also partly controlled by how fast the engine is running (rpm's)

if you have high mileage it may be time to replace it with a new one

2006 dodge ram 2500 4x4 diesel replace brake pads front and back

Straight forward job. Remove wheels, remove 2 caliper bolts per wheel, check bolts, and bushings for wear/corrosion and lubricate, remove calipers, remove brake pads, push caliper pistons into calipers, replace anti-rattle clips, put new pads in, put caliper and bolts in, put wheels on. Start truck and press brake pedal several times to take up slack and you're done.

I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4. Sometimes the front axle makes a grinding sound, it happens frequently when turning. Could it be my hub assembly or does the front diff., fluid need to be changed and...

My '01 dodge 4x4 diesel had a simular problem turned out to be the dust cover or backing plate that had somehow moved probably due to expansion and contracting from the heat!

Take throttle body off, clean Throttle Body with Carburator cleaner. I had same problem and its the ethynol in fuel that creates a build up in the throttle body which creates this problem. I did what a friend of mine said to do (service manager at Dodge Dealership) it hasnt happened again.
