Fiat bravo my duel heater system will not switch off on the left hand side of the car making it very hot in the passengers seat area

you have to get down the gear box to check it .
maybe it's not a damage clutch .....

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Have you checked the rockers they could be burned out, or it could be a fuse problem.

Yeah, it's bull. The transition flaps are out of adjustment or the left one just is disconnected from the lever under dash, the pin has popped out that makes the connection on the lever. This stuff isn't hard to fix after you've found where the problem lies, it's just hard to get to sometimes.

Hi you got duel system it can be the actuator that open the hot and cold vent or simply be a block heater core the radiator that inside the dash on duel system they install the radiator in the middle half on the right and the other half on the left dirt acumulate at one end of that raditor and prevent heat on one side last week at my shop subaru outback lots of heat on one side cold on the other side i slush the heatwr core when on a road test after my fingwr were burning so mush heat good luck and thanks fot using fixya

Fiat X19 heater hose
There are two heater hoses which go from the engine to the heater core. One begins on the driver side of the engine (comes off the water pump pipe) and goes between the engine and firewall, under the vehicle, and connects to a steel pipe under the vehicle.

The other begins on the passenger side of the engine goes thru the firewall, thru the spare tire compartment and into the tunnel of the vehicle where it joins a metal pipe which located underneath the shifter assembly. Remove the shift boot and the bolts underneath which secure the shift mechanism, and move the shifter out of the way so you can see the hose-to-pipe connection in the tunnel.
