Look under your hood in the black fuse box close to your battery.which one it is you would need to find out from a garage or get a Haynes manual for it

SOURCE: 2006 ford fusion ac problem

As a Ford dealer tech I found this was always caused by the AC compressor cycling switch, it shuts the compressor off when it reaches about 30 PSI, this prevents freeze up and saves fuel, when the system press rises again to about 42 PSI it turns the compressor back on and so on, change the switch, it is located in the low pressure line from the compressor, that is the one that gets cold.

SOURCE: Ford fiesta fusion 2006-2007 the clutch starter

You would have to bypass the switch............or roll start the car.

I assume you mean the safety switch that won't allow the starter motor to go unless your foot is on the clutch.

Switch is about $ 60 ( what a rip off )

SOURCE: 2006 Ford Fusion. Left front door inside handle

This link is from the handle to the latch. The door panel has to be removed in order for this problem to be fixed. The linkage is inside the door panel, it is a small diamater metal rod called a link. If you do the job yourself be careful not to break the door panel. In a shop, the labor is 1 hour for the job & if any, parts will be a seperate charge.

SOURCE: removing alternator on a 2006 ford fusion v6

the alternator probably is accessable from the underside of the car without removing the compressor, which would require extensive knowledge and expensive equipment. the best thing to do is purchase a repair manual. this inexpensive investment has detailed procedure and pictures to help you tackle this repair.

I have a 2006 ford fusion. The ac compressor will not come on. I jumped the clutch relay out and it will run. I checked all fuses in the two circuits for the relay and all is well and has power. Is there...

It's the evaporator temperature switch, ford has tsb's out for it. You have to remove the dash board to change it, so far I've done 4 this year and it's only June. FYI it's 1.1 lbs of freon...........

Ford fusion 2008 a/c does not blow air compressor seems to be o

If the AC fan does not come on, it is probably the relay, switch, or fan itself.
If it comes on but is not cold, it could be the relay, compressor clutch, or the climate control.
