BMW Electronic Shutdown

My 97' BMW 528i began a series of electronic failures. Beginning with the radio, AC blower, driver seat and now the steering wheel. All have either stopped working or come on and off!

Hey Drew..my name is Keith....and it could be any number of things when it comes to the electronics..but there is one item that controls all the power to everything..and thats the ignition switch..and it sounds like you might have a bad contact(s) in the ignition switch...but i would do some troubleshooting..it could a corroded connector somewhere or a faulty ground wire somewhere..so..i hope this has helped and i wish i could pin point your problem..but if you need further assistance..write me back

Testimonial: "Bingo! it took me a while to finally get to working on it, but I took your advice and took the ignition switch out, cleaned it and put it back..Yep!"

My 08 BMW 328i ac blower fluctuates in speed. After starting, it goes to high, then to slow, periodically surging to high speed briefly. Max button does not force high speed. I have bench tested th

I have had the same problem on an older BMW. This is usually a symptom of a bad final stage resistor, an electronic module located in the center console in front of the front seat on the passenger's side. Google final stage resistor for your model and you will find the info. you need. Get ready for your back to ache hanging your feet over the front seat. Replacement modules are sold on ebay.

Where the fuse box to a 88 ford thunder bird 5.0 liter

The fuse panel is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, next to the emergency brake pedal. You need to remove the under-dash insulation to access some parts of the fuse panel.

If it doesn't have a diagram inside the box, here's one I found online: http://www.coolcats.net/tech/reference/images/fusepanel.jpg
