SOURCE: 2010 subaru legacy emergency brake indicator light comes on intermitently and sometimes stays on

Check the park brake switch and the fluid level in the brake master cylinder, both will cause the light to flash.

2004 Subaru Legacy 35th anniversary edition. Where is the fuel pump relay reset button for it.

Question edited for clarity and correct spelling of maker.
Question moved to model category.

Relays don't have a reset button, they are just an electro mechanical switch. Subaru don't have inertia cut off switches.

Help in the link, but it sounds like you need an auto electrician even though you give no clue what is wrong with the vehicle.

How to change a 2010 Subaru Legacy battery, do I need to hook up with another battery first before I disconnect with the old one.

Its possible, sometimes the new vehicles work with anti-theft systems; confirm with your owners manual battery procedure or ask your dealer.

2009 legacy subaru reset switch

where do I find the reset button for a 2009 Subaru Legacy? The gas gauge and the display for how many miles a gallon I am averaging is blinking constantly and occasionally it shows numbers ranging from 2mpg to 65 mpg.. I am thinking that if I am able to reset the car system then it might fix it. Will this help? I need some advice..

How do I change battery on my 2010 Subaru Lagacy properly

Have a back up battery source hooked up to the car like a 4-6 amp battery charger and you will be fine. You just need to not loose power to the cars electronics or the memory is lost and must be reset, allot of trouble,

It's a bad solenoid. Reverse and low gears work off the same set of clutches. If you have first gears , then its a solenoid problem. I would first start by pulling plugs, transmission, TCM and everything in between. Check for corrosion, Use an ohm meter and check the wires for continuity. On some models the safety neutral switch/ range selector switch has a lot to do with how the transmission shifts. If the tcm can't read the switch it wont send power to the solenoid. so far I haven't found a place that will sell just solenoids. You have to buy the whole package. These start at about $200.00

First, reset al ECM' by removing the battery negative terminal for a minute or so then re-fit it. This reset should cure all your problems. If not I shall consult my TSB's after you post the results of the reset.
