Hey you need to go buy a fuel pressure gauge, there not expensive, and doesnt take a roket scientist to install. If you suddenly just lost power it would have nothing to do with your PCM(ECU). if your fuel pressure is low then you might want to replace your lift pump. If its still powerless, then go out and spend some money cause you have overworked your injection pump. but the first thing you should do is simply change your fuel filter. Good luck!!!

Make sure you have the stock air cleaner element in there. a k&n filter will cause it to go over boost and the engine will derate, because of the computer trying to match fuel to the extra airflow. this actually happened to me.

When driving my 1997 Audi A 4 1.8t there is a loss of power around 3000 rpm, what could be causing the issue?

run the fault codes and look for a problem area in the vane actuator of the turbo
it could be a sensor problem or a MAP sensor problem
this is indicated by the pressures being generated or not generated by a turbo generating pressure from the throttle opening on acceleration or held at constant speed

Loss of power in 1989 dodge ram d100

Check your catalitic converter, excessive back pressure will make the vehicle feel like you are pressing the brakes while trying to floor it. Does the converter glow bright red? then there is a problem with the system, most likely a plugged converter, or muffler

the turbo has no effect on blower motor performance. you may have a bad turbo but you may also have a bad blower motor or a low freon level on the a/c system.

2003 dodge caravan is slow to pick up speed

Replace the fuel filter as a first step, but also check for a faulty fuel regulator. Find the fuel regulator near the throttle body in the fuel line and pull off the rubber hose and see if there are any traces of fuel dripping out of the rubber hose. The hose is for air only and fuel in that hose indicates the fuel regulator requires replacement. Also check for vacuum leaks in the hoses from the motor's intake to the crankcase where the PCV valve is located. Relatively small holes in that area will cause poor acceleration and a lean condition in the motor and loss of power or hesitation. Also check the plastic air tubes going from the air filter box to the throttle body area to make sure everything is tight and there are no holes. Holes or leaks there will cause hard starts and poor driveability.

My truck has no power, its moving really slow, just happened all of a sudden on the highway!

Have someone check the exhaust outlet while you try to rev the engine, does it seem restricted? It's possible the exhaust system has collapsed inside, and is blocking the pipe. This would cause loss of power.

PEUGEOT 1.9 D ENGINE LOSS OF POWER THEN WHITE SMOKE

Have your head gasket checked you may have a small tear or hole in it allowing coolant/water into your engine internals. This smoke and power loss probably also happens at highway speeds yet is not noticed due to cars momentum
