Did you check our ball joints? jack up the wheel and try to move it side to side and up and down. it should move no more than an 1/8" either way. Any more than that and your ball joints aer starting to wear.

I have a Mitsubishi Charisma 1.6 Salon of 1999 I replaced a front and rear shock absorbers, but still hear the sound of knocking as well as the driver's seat and rear wheels especially driving on small...

Just a stupid little suggestion, check that the exhaust in not knocking on something - check all the exhaust suspension rubbers and shake the exhaust system around to see if you cannot repeat the knocking.

There is a knocking sound from engine(left side) when driving. It starts when you make a sharp turn.

If you have a front wheel or all wheel drive vehicle I would guess it's a CV joint (front axle), not the engine.

Front suspension knocking noise

Your car being 15 years old, your better of replacing the Sway bar end link. You can pick them up at Auto Zone, Napa, and Parts Source, the urethane bushing kits go for around $35.00 for both sides. The urethane bushing kits last at life time and when removing the old end link, try tightening the nut till they snap the bolt which is easier then to remove the nut from the bolt. It takes about 30 min to replace both sides and make sure you measure both end link at the end of the job to make sure they are equal in length. Good luck and don't forget the lock tight.

Front driver side suspension knock over bumps

See if you can bounce car and replicate the noise. If you can, you should be able to find it, and put your hand on it. Stabilizer bushing are a place to look, both at the lower a arm and on the frame. If you narrow it down to the strut, it will need to be replaced. The front trans mount also goes bad, try putting it in drive with your foot on the brake and give it some gas and see if the engine moves an excessive amount.
