93 bg5 Legacy gt wagon auto. I cannot talk to transmission computor with diagnostic computor The car is lacking power and i am only getting 360km on 50 liters of gas. This problem has started since doing cam belt water pump had engine out to fix oil leak new plugs and coils The car runs great for about 50 km when ecu is reset, then it starts playn up again.

Are you sure its the transmission ecu that is the problem ? Are you getting any engine ecu error codes ? Sounds to me like its going into limp home mode..... Crankshaft sensor ? Camshaft sensor ? Engine ecu ? Thats where I would be looking ........ Looking forward to your reply.

The tip of the key on my Subaru Legacy 93 is stuck in the drivers side lock/ keyhole. I need to remove the whole lock mechanism so I can retrieve the tip of the key. I'm not sure how to take the door apart to get to it.

starter locks up on my 1993 subaru legacy. we have replaced it several times and put a ''heatshield'' on it. When it gets hot on mailroute, it will not start. Could this be triggered by something else?
