Turned the car off and took keys out of ignition and came back to it a little later and turned the car on and tried to start it and lost all power. checked all connects and tried jumping the car with no luck at all. when i turn the key switch to the run position i have power but when i turn it the start the car the whole car looses all power. i have to then remove the battery cables for up to 30 minutes before it will reset to try again. had battery and starter both checked. replaced all the relays, key switch, and ignition switch.

does this car have a safety device that won't let you start the engine unless the clutch is pushed in???
if so that little switch on the clutch pedal could be faulty.

1. take out your cd player or stereo

check for voltage at the small start wire on the starter when cranking the engine--you will need someone help. If there is no voltage you may have a bad neutral safety switch ,which is on the trany shifter.you have an automatic trans i assume.
If so try putting in neutral when cranking.

I would bet it is a bad battery cable terminal. I just had mine replaced and from different forums it seems a common problem.
