Battery light comes on when I accelerate

Why does battery light comes on when I accelerate and goes out when I step off the accelerator. It only runs for so long and then the battery dies, I have changed the alternator and had the new alternator also rechecked and it is working fine. Can anyone please tell me what's wrong.

Have you tried changing the battery.as they can cause that to happen if your battery has a dead cell.

You have a short circuit or a bad switch somewhere near the fuse box or behind the fuse box as Ecu is also been not getting the complete voltage so kindly check the short circuit while testing from the battery wire to fusebox .Do it early before it blows your ecu.

04 saturn L300 acceleration dies

run the fault codes first to check for faulty sensors
what you describe indicates a problem in the exhaust in that when the exhaust gas volume reaches a certain level the sensors are reporting it and the ECM is not able to fix it
have an accredited exhaust shop check the cat converter
for failure and partially blocking the exhaust at speed
if it was a fuel pump you would run into problems long before the speed at which it occurs
AT best it could be an EVAP problem with the vent not working properly but I think that it is exhaust related

All the above problems were happening to my truck, and the engine light never did come on. Finally changed the O2 sensor, and it runs like new again.

I have a 1996 Mazda MPV where the engine fuse keep blowing. This happens after the battery was removed. Here is what happen. The alternator die one day. I replace the alternator and everything work...

There is a diode in the alternator that you fried the instant you disconnected the battery....go get a new alternator. This was an acceptable test on much older cars, but not these days......

In park the engine dies; only will run if given gas

It sounds like there is a problem with the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Its job is to open and let air into the manifold when the throttle is closed at idle. If it does not open, the engine dies at idle. The IAC is mounted on the throttle body. Possibly the valve is clogged or stuck, in which case it could be ok again if it is removed and cleaned. Or it is broken, and needs to be replaced. Or, there is a problem with its electrical connection, that needs to be traced. Good luck, let me know if you have any questions.

p1545 is a throttle control malfuction code

You can try to reset the throttle body by opening the hood and drivers door then turning your key to the accessory position. You will hear the throttle body whir and click. It may take up to two minutes. Afterward, the car will relearn your habit of driving and adjust accordingly.
