My aunt overheated her 97 geo prizm. Now it will turn over but it won't start. It sounds like it has low cylinder compression, what should it be? What else could it be?

Very likely she has blown out the head gasket. If the motor lost a lot of cooling fluid, that is the most logical cause.
A leaking head asked will press out all cooling fluid.
Not the overheating caused damage to the head gasket, but the other way around. The leaking gasket, caused the overheating.

If you see bubbles in your overflow tank, it is either overheating or (more probably) it has a blown head gasket. How long after engine cold start do the bubbles show?
A compression test could tell you more about the head gasket condition. You can also have the coolant tested against CO2 contamination.
Sometimes you can see oil on the surface of the coolant in the overflow tank when the head gasket is blown (check this with cold engine).

How would i know if my overheating problem in my 97 Geo Metro Prizm is a radiator, water pump, blown head gasket, cracked head or a thermostat problem. is there some way i can check for this?

Oil and coolant mixed usually means the engine is damaged.
Blown head gasket, or cracked block - head.
You may have coolant in the engine oil too.
I would not drive it.

I used 92 for the first time and now car keeps overheating

The chances of the very minor octane change causing damage like you are describing are so slim they are non existent.

Your overheat problem just happened to coincide with this fill up. If you have motor noise that sounds deep and thick like a hammer inside the motor or followed by a chirping sound you have already blown the motor.

I would start pricing a motor and know that under no terms did this difference in fuel octane (if it was good fuel) cause this damage.
