what the air ride switch in a 1998 ford explorer, should it be on or off and where is it located? we were told that might be the reason why it's not starting

remove the right kick panel.thats where the air suspension located.

- the switch should be on while vechicle is operating.you turn it off only when. raise the vechicle or working on the suspension.if air ride system not working check the fuse and relay.also the electrical connector.
