Hello your truck has a bad blower resister that is located under the passenger side of the dash under the cover. This part is not expensive to replace nor is it to hard.

There is a resistor in your dash for the blower fan that controls the voltage thereby giving you multiple settings i would try and track it down and check it

I have 2007 Suzuki XL7. I replaced radiator and fan assembly. Fans do not work. Is there a relay? If so, where is it?

Most fan and Ac relays are located in the under hood fuse and relay box. Adequately marked in owners manual or on plastic cover

How to trouble shoot heat/ a/c fan switch.

Will your blower fan kick on in the medium position by chance? Med/ med high..if it is a 4 position switch, does it operate in the number 3 position? If so it is probably your blower motor resistor. If not, I would test the blower motor itself. Since the compressor kicks on when you turn the fan on, I would think the switch is working.

Continous cutting of fan even after changing alternator and related purlins. So what is the problem?

Check these parts........... First check the TEMPERATURE/RADiATOR FAN SWiTCH, it is connected on ur RADiATOR, w/ 2 wires connected to it, at certain temperature the switch turns ON ur FAN MOTOR, by disconnecting it and JUMP/SHORT the 2 wires FAN MOTOR should run, even when u just turn on the ignition! If the FaN runs, u got temp switch prob and needs to replace, If the fan didn't run when u shorted the wire in the switch. Check the RELAY, located in the ENGiNE FUSE box, pull out the relay and replace it w/ another relay, while ur 2 wires in the temp switch is on and ur ignition is in the ON position, when the relay clicks and the fan runs, u have a GOOD relay, if not u have to replace the RELAY! Hope that explains everything! Taah!

2001 Saturn L100 radiator fans will not turn on. Below is the list of information I could remember that seems pertinent. Fans work when powered directly. Temp Gauge in Dash Cluster operates normally (same...

the fan circuit has a a/c pressure switch to operate the second fan.the primary fan is operated by a thermal switch on the radiator, which drives the relay that drives the fan.if the thermal switch is bad it will not activate the relay.get the schematic and check the fuse, and the thermal switch.

Fan switch stopped working 1 mth after replacing the resistor

1) Check for +12v power from the fan select switch at the resistor pack - (If +12v is available there you may again have a faulty resistor pack).
2) Apply +12v directly to the fan motor to check that it runs ok.

I have 1991 honda accord, heater blower motor does run but very slowly in all speed positions i have removed the blower assbly. and motor seems to turn free. is there a speed control that may be bad ?

If you have removed the blower motor, Connect it to a 12 volt power supply(your battery)with some jumper wires. It should turn fast, be careful when you connect it, have a good grip on it, it will jump just a little. If it dont run fast its junk. The other 2 things
1)The fan switch
2) The resistor that slows the fan at low speeds.
