Question about 2005 Chevrolet Silverado
Where is the fuel filter located
There is a fuel filter underneath the driver side door closer to the rear of the vehicle, right inside the frame rail, near the rear tire.

There is usually one in the lines and another in the fuel pump inside the gas tank

if you still have one it will be on the frame rail right about the transmission crossmember on drivers side. this is around the year chevy started using the in tank filter which you dont replace

take gas cap off and push in the flap for a second or two and then leave the cap off until you get the filter back on so you do not loose all your gas and try www.schramauto.com or call them at 1-800-292-1032 if you need any GM parts in future and you can try www.autozone.com if you need any more instructions or diagrams to help you out
