The two fans are for two different things. One should come on when the engine is hot. The other is for the A/C condensor. Try running the engine till it is warm, with the a/c on, then checking under the hood while it is still running. You should see it kick on and off then.

I'm not sure about the sentra, but I know that in my 1998 Eclipse, which has a dual cooling fan, one of the fans is a backup. You might want to make sure of that before you go buying fuses and relays.

The cooling fan is controlled by computer which provides ground to the relay. The cooling fan is turned "on" or "off" according to programed conditions. In most dual fan systems the secondary fan works independently of the primary to provide additional cooling, again under certain conditions such as high temp and a/c "on" signal. Therefore, does the secondary fan not work - ever, or are you expecting it to work whenever the primary turns on? I've not heard anything in your description to convince that it is not working at all. If incorrect, please clarify and we'll see if we can walk you through it (depending on your troubleshooting abilities).

"2004 Suzuki air which is fan relay which is located"
i translated it for you.
which fan, the engine Radiator fan or the passenger cooling /heating fan. there are 3 fan systems, heater blower, RAD and A/C condensor
so? ill guess RAD or A/C

ill answer for, RAD fan relay, old post
it's the relay in the PDC, marked FAN. (if car is English car !)
fuse 23, but that runs many other things besides fan.
relay 1 runs the fans.
now A/C fan at the condensor way out front.
Fuse 12, and again runs many things.

fuse box 1, next to battery has 2 relays, #1 fan #2 fan for RAD

the condenser fan and compressor relays, right there same place.

SALUD !

Cooling fans on aztek no coming on, ran hot wire to fans and works. checked fuses, jumped wires at temp. sensor and fans ran after shutting ignition off for aprox. 30 seconds, replaced temp. sensor and...

there are 4 steps to check and you've mentioned all but one the relay which cuts the fan on'off. At an elec shop you check in this order power to fuse block, fuse & output side, temp sensor, relay, and fan motors. Get a new relay

1985 nissan sentra new alternator and battery wont hold charge fan on toggle switch having electrical issues

that may be the problem, if the relay is activated it will drain the battery, try removing the fuses for the cooling fan to see if this is the problem, start with that, remove power to fans, even remove the fan relay or relays,

My fan also has quit the assembly is new so i

Use a known working relay of the same type and turn on your a/c on high, then put in the relay where the old high speed fan relay was. If it comes on, it's the relay. Try this on low speed as well. If they don't come on when the A/C is on, it could be your pcm/ecu as well. If it doesn't communicate with the sensor, it won't turn on. Check with A/C running to narrow it down. If they work here, look into the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Passenger side radiator cooling fan stopped working

I found that for some reason if you start your car and then remove and reinstall the hi and low relays that the fans work. I have done this numerous times on my 1995 lhs. I thought that my fans were defective until by chance checked the relays which engine was running.

The fan for the cooling system is not working and is brand new

There is a sensor on the radiator that controls a relay to turn the fan on. There is also a fuse in the fuse panel under the hood. Make sure the radiator is full.
