Question about 2003 Honda Civic
Today, I accidentally put a different key in my '03 honda civics ignition .After i put the key in it made a beeping noise as if it was the correct key. i took it out and used the correct one. I started the car and drove it all day without much problem( started to get a little stiff on the initial start after a while) now it wont start at all,the wheel is locked and it will not let me put it in gear or unlock the wheel. nor will it allowme to turn over at all. Any suggestions? there isnt any help in my manual or anything and the only thing i can think of it being is an antitheft system if a wrong key is inserted into the ignition. please help!
In newer cars like that... if you stick another key from a different car in the ignition, it often times throws off the computer and it will have to be taken to a honda dealer ship

Sounds like you damaged the key switch assembly, best bet replace unit
