I would remove the seat and replace the motor. Purchase one from a junk yard. Save you some money.

2006 trailblazer driver seat won't move forward or backwards

unfortunately the electric seats from all of the car builders have never been able to fix the problems that plage them since their creation they are known for switchs going out motors and drives failing start by making sure you have power to all of these you will need to trace power from your fuse panel using a test light or volt meter next look check to make sure that the tracks on the seat are free of debri and clean then you will have to take the track apart and check the drive gears and cables to make sure they are not damaged

Airbag light staying on

You need to connect to vag com or some else computer program to see the error code and when remove prroblem you need to delet the error from car computer memory to get rid of the light.
The most common problems are: blown fuse, bad connection under the seat or something like that! But you can't do nothing without the comp.

Take this to a garage ASAP. This is a dangerous condition that needs investigation.

2000 jetta gl, Seat does not latch in place. Drivers seat

Look for nuts inside rails where seat is attached to floor, if not, observe under vehicle in that area for nuts to remove that are attached to studs coming down through floor.

Memory seats

on the seat controlls there should be a button that says memory 1 or something of that sort on it. move your seat to your desired position and press and hold that button. usually for about 5 to 10 seconds. than move your seat out of place and press that button to make sure your seat will go back to the position you had it in. than if you are driving and you accidently hit the button the seat is already in the position set so it should not move.
