you ended with the fuel pump will need changing the crank sensor???? what is this? it all sounds like the fuel pump is bad and needs changed. did this happen. there is a way to tell if this is what is wrong. you buy a can of starter fluid ( under $5 ) and spray it into the air box while someone is trying to start the engine. you open the air box and spray into the tube leading to the motor. if all else is ok the motor will fire and run as long as you keep spraying the starter fluid. when you stop the engine should stop. this is a good test for the fuel pump. what does the crank sensor have to do with it? Not to say the two could never quit at the same time but they are not related.
good luck and get back with me if i can help more.
sounds more like a relay fault check the fuel pump relay numbered 196 i think ot 164 you should hear pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key on if you hear pump running you may have a crank sensor fault
