Ac condensor would be in front of radiator. Both fan kicking on? High speed fans will cause this issue

Put a new fuel pump on and it will not run

Check for a fuel pump resistor which would be external from the fuel pump, my 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix had one. It's reminiscent of the old ignition coil resistors. It's used to regulate the speed of the fuel pump. To test to see if it's bad, jump it out. If the car continues to run, it's bad. You can either then replace it or leave it jumped out like I did.

2.4 liter 4 cyl 1996 grand am were is thermostat located

Follow the lower hose from the radiator to the metal pipe that runs under the engine and connects to the back side of the engine to the water pump housing. Remove that metal pipe from the water pump housing and the t-stat will be right there.

Engine Gets Hot, thermo stat replaced, new radiator, water pump works. What's wrong?

possible head gasket failure or cracked head. Check for water in exhaust to confirm. Remove/inspect spark plugs for water/coolant.

Car run hot possible radiator got a hole and/or water pump coing bad.put water in it...water blows back at you.change thermo stat.

it cant be hot when you do it . you have to start the filling prosess when its cool.you will get a air pocket that wont go away. air pocket causes steam. you have to fill as the car warms up.
