SOURCE: mazda rx 7 rebuilt kit clutch master cylinder.

crack the bleeder nipple on the slave cyl and get some one to slowly push the pedal see if any fluid shoots out if not you may have killed the new seal in the master cyl.
it sounds like you did every thing right its just that old cylinders get were in them and if you don't hone them out and put a new sleeve in them quite often you will rip the new seal apart on the first pump of the pedal.
any way check for presser and let me no

i'm no expert but to me it sounds like it could be your battery or alternator or something to do with the electrical system, have you had your battery and charging system checked by an auto-electrician?

check the slave cylinder adjustment as normally there is no adjustment on the piston rod
There should be about 1/4 " free play between rod and throw out arm
the pivot bolt for the throw out arm should never be adjusted
what you have indicates air in the system or a faulty clutch master cylinder
you can get the clutch slipping indication if the compensating port in the master cylinder is blocked which holds the fluid in the system and keeps the clutch from fulling engaging
no resistance is air in the system and that can be from a faulty master cylinder

E2000 mazda tray top .weak fluid pressure from master ,fcylinder to caliper foot pedal does not pump up pressure enough to bleed caliper

Yes it could be a bad master cylinder. But always remember when bleeding brakes. No matter what component on the brake system was changed. You ALWAYS bleed all four wheels and rule #2 ALWAYS bleed from furthest from the master cylinder first and work your way to the master cylinder. This ensures you remove all the air from the break system and not just move the air back and forth inside the lines. Try that. Hope this helps.

How to adjust the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder locknut that is under the dashboard

the slave cylinder is bolted to the bell housing, its motion moves the throw out bearing. the master cylinder is connected to the clutch pedal. the adjustment will only take any slack out of the rod which is moved by the clutch pedal up against the piston of the master cylinder. it only needs adjustment if the clutch pedal has any slop in it.

Fitted new clutch and slave cylinder in 2.5 v6

crawl up under the dashboard & look where the clutch pedal rod goes through the firewall. look for traces of brake fluid at the rubber boot of the rod. a clutch master cylinder normally will leak to the inside of the vehicle & down the firewall when it fails. Replace as required & bleed clutch system using the bleeder valve that should be on the slave asy.

Remove mastercylinder bolts first, remove vacuum hose. Then go under dash & remove tieon connector to brake peddle. Unbolt brake booster from firewall & remove. Do not unhook breaklines from master cylinder! Reassemble in reverse order.
