Disconnect and plug up the hose at the distributor.. Set the timing and then un plug and reconnect the hose to the distributor.

make sure you check for if it needs a tool to get the fuel filter off. samurais have hose clamps... wear bad clothes cause being the first time, you are going to get covered...
