Question about Saturn SC2
We put a new fuel filter on it and it has sparks and the engine turns over but it will not catch to start. It just gets to the point where it may start but it will not have done every thing that the shop has said to do .
Check Fuel Pressure...or fuel pump...have some one put an ear on the bottom of the fuel tank while you turn the key on...dont try to start the car...just turn the key. The pump should run until fuel system is pressurized then it should stop. If the pump is working you may be getting too much fuel. Pull the plugs to see if they are wet...if so check the Coolant temp sensor... if its faulty it will tell the PCM its cold and the fuel mixture will be very rich.
