Question about 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe

1 Answer

Rear air isnt working at all nothing comes out

Front air works great (knock on wood) but nothing in the rear. Several weeks ago it went out but went over a bump and came back on. It went out again and I've been over every bump I can find in the last three days and also pounded on the roof area. NOTHING. Also took the control panel up front down to make sure it was still connected. Single mom of twin boys need that air. HELP please.

thx I had a friend of a friend look at it and the connection in the back right side had come loose and melted. So he scraped it clean and re connected it. Saved me @ 300 for a new blower and 2 hrs of labor charge.

2003 ford expedition i just got it a week ago and the front heat works great but the back vents only blow cold air. How do i fix this?

With the car parked and engine idling, turn the ventilation control between windshield defroster and "open air ducts" to front and rear vents. Listen to pinpoint where the valves are that open and closes the air ducts. It sounds like the air duct to rear vents are blocked, and the cold air in rear air duct is coming from "outside ventilation." The air vent to allow hot air to the rear vent is stuck in "open ventilation" mode, like when you're driving in spring or summer months.

04 TAHOE Front A/C works great, Rear A/C blows warm. Seems like something isnt shutting the flow of hot water to the back??

Hi Jason.
Sounds like you are on the right track with the flow of hot coolant not stopping. Check your heater control valve to make sure it is stopping the flow of coolant through the rear heater core. Let me know. Hope this helps.

Had the engine replaced three weeks ago, and now, there is a minor knocking sound coming form the engine.

Sounds like your Rodeo was taken to the circus. No warranty on that new motor? I need to know where the sound is coming from. Top, bottom, front rear or what. Is it a tapping or hard loud knocking??? Let me know and I will try to help you out. Raz

Rear Air Suspension is sagging on my 99' Lincoln Navigator

I realize this is a very late post, but it may help others searching for the same problem. I found the relay on the RH side between the bumper and healdlight. I unplugged the connection, cleaned it real well and plugged it back in and everything works great. Definately want to try this prior to buying a compressor or relay. Very common problem do to it's position under the vehicle in the elements.

2001 tahoe front heater not working, rear heater blows warm air

I have the same problem with my 2001 Tahoe. The front blower is working, its blowing strong, but its cold air even with the temp setting as high as it can get. The rear blows hot air. The engine temp guage is at about 210ish which is close to being normal (220). I just replaced the thermostate a few months ago, I don't know if its bad again, or it I deluted the antifreeze too much and it frooze the heater core, or if the heater core just went bad. Any one know what the cause could be?
