Any car wash dhould do , there will be signs of rust under vehicle, after all that's the part of the car that faces all the eliments most once there are no signs of scaling or pitting. you are ok, rust stains will accure nothing a good under coating won't fix

Could be lack of compression, or too much fuel from the injector.

2002 dodge durango wont shift out of park

Put your foot on the brakes and have someone see if you have brake lights. This has a shift interlock that uses the brake lights to complete the circuit that unlocks the shifter from park. You can bypass this saftey feature by applying brake, engine off key off and moving shifter to neutral then starting the engine Dont forget to fix your brake lights !!

There is a lot of rust on the engine, would it

Rust can be caused by leaving a car outside in the snow all winter, it can be caused by driving in he snow when they use salt on the roard andif the car has been on the coast it will rust. if there is rust inside the engine it may be due to a bad water pumps or a bad head gasket, my advise to you is walk away from it.

I need to know what tools I'll need to change the front rotors on my 02 dodge durango

you will need the basic hand tools to do a brake job, and a big hammer to break the rotors free from the axel, they should just fall off but sometimes need some hammering to break the rust free

Daimler Jaguar Mk II V8 1965 - Advice wanted

The SP250 would not be your getaway car!! Optimum cruising speed is about 55mph. Beware of rust on this model. My fathers one had a small spot at the bottom of the drivers door, in 6 months in a irish winter had it spread very quickly, They rust as quick as the BJ40 70's toyota land cruisers. If as you say you need something that will run reliably, i would go for something that you can inspect the service history. If you have no proof other than the word of the seller that all this work was done on the car in the past 15 -20 years, ask for it, Ask for garage receipts, parts lists etc. If the seller cant produce them, Then generally avoid! If he can produce this stuff, ask him why he is selling it, you might get yourself a good buy there.

When you go to see the car make sure the engine is cold first

When you go to start it turn the ignition on, wait for all the gauges and ticking to stop before hitting the start button on the dashboard

Check floor and boot for rust

Check behind the front bumper for rust too, If the door cards are loose have a look behind them for rust inside the doors.

Let the engine warm up. Rev it hard and check for smoke. If it is blue, its burning oil. If it's black a tune up is needed

Good Luck
