When both lights are on you should check wheel sensors. Look for small plug at the back of rotor, probably 2 wire. Make sure all sensors are securely attached/latched and no obvious damage to sensor such as breakage from stone, etc. Check all wiring at wheels for break, rubbing, pinch, etc. If nothing visually obvious then check codes with code reader or scanner for clue to which wheel needs attention.

Svs, abs. no trac, and perf shift lights

Trac control and ABS lights come on usually when one of your ABS wheel sensors is either bad and needs replacing or corroded and just may need cleaning. This happened to me. It was my front left abs sensor. they replaced it and al the lights went out and all good now. I also bought an OBDII that plugs into your car and the computer tells the OBDII whats wrong and what sensor it is. You also get the option to erase the codes and put out some or all the lights on your dash. Some times a glitch will light a light on the dash and resetting or erasing it with the OBDII corrects the problem. Hope this helps. God Bless :O)

What does trac off button means and the abs light on

the trac off light is designed to come on with the ABS light on this vehicle. you need to have the ABS system tested for codes.Do Not be alarmed the brakes will work just not the ABS system.most of the time the codes are a wheel speed sensor.

My 2005 chevy cavalier has a service engine, abs, and trac off light on. sometimes the low trac light comes on when in the reverse position, then switches to the 3 lights when put in the drive position....

The ABS and traction off lights usually indicate a bad wheel speed sensor. I can't remember if the service light came on the three times mine went. The most common one to fail is the left front.

Try this cheap fix first.

Remove the left front wheel speed sensor, clean and reinstall it. They are magnetic and some times road debris will block the sensor. If that was the problem the ABS and traction lights will go off when you start the car.

Your second option is to have the shop scan the vehicle trouble codes, usually this costs an hours labor.

Hope this helps

Abs light and brake light are on. also service

You can test the wheel speed sensors by unhooking the connectors and put ohmeter test leads on the sensor terminals should read around 1100-1600 ohms also the connectors themselves were bad for wires breaking inside the insulation at the connectors from flexing when the wheel is turned back and forth..Note excessive wheel bearing noise from bad bearings have also been known for interferring with clean abs signal also causing abs codes good luck

Why does the LOW TRAC and ANTI-LOCK warnings light up a majority of the time when I am driving? What is LOW TRAC?

low trac light and abs light run hand in hand. first thing id check is the code stored in abs module. youll almost guaranteed to find a bad abs wheel sensor--which to replace is a wheel hub assembly ....hope that helped you out

2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette Trac System and ABS Stop working

I think your abs sensor is dirty and needs to be cleaned.

There are many things that can cause your ABS light to come on. Some are serious, so you should never just ignore the light. But there are times when the light comes on and can be met with a simple solution. For instance, a dirty ABS wheel sensor can cause the system to trigger the ABS light during self evaluation. You'll be shocked when you see how much road gunk can accumulate on this very important sensor.
Even if your ABS light hasn't made an appearance, it's a good idea to clean the sensor. A good time to do it would be during brake pad replacement when you have the wheels off anyway
Begin by loosening your wheel lugs, then jack the front of the car up and rest it securely on jack stands. With the car safe, remove the wheel lugs and take the front wheels off.
With the wheel off, turn the steering wheel all the way in, opposite the side your working on. For example if your working on the passenger side, turn the wheel all the way toward the drivers side.

Locate the ABS wheel sensor. Remove the bolts that attach it to the rest of the suspension. You may also need to remove a few bolts to pull the sensor away from the vehicle for cleaning. Follow the line to see if there are more bolts. Remember not to force it or pull too hard. Then along the line theres another two 10mm bolts, that need to be removed, just follow the abs sensor line to get at them.

With the sensor free, take your rag and wipe the sensor until its clean. I prefer not to use any chemicals on the sensor to avoid potential problems. If you need to, use mild soapy solution and rinse well.
Reinstall the sensor in the same manner it was removed.

Probably a bad ABS sensor is shutting down the traction control system.First you have to take it in to a reliable tech.He would scan the computer & check your ABS sensors.Im fairly certain one of thoe sensors are acting up.
