SOURCE: my 06 jetta keeps blowing fuse for heater and

I had the same problem after a weekend trip, I found that the 50 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood was blow, this other things that stopped working with this was the seat wouldn't adjust, the seat heater wouldn't work, and when we locked the car it wouldn't beep. When searching for the problem I found that the tube going to the window washer in the hood was broken at the hinge and while working on this the short at the fuse location went away and everything started working. I read that the problem was the heated window washer nozzles that were shorting out, if this happens again I will be unplugging them. Now that I fixed that problem the airbag light has came on and will not go off.

Hi, I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C and the seat warmer won't turn off. I have to unplug the battery when I turn it off, as it runs down. I can't get to the link posted. Help!

Wendy, the heated seat relay or switch could be bad, a good tech. may have to run diagnostics on it and locate fault and give estimate for repair. In the meantime instead of unhooking battery, look in your manual and find the heated seat fuse/relay and unplug it, verify seats are not heating up and then leave fuse/relay out until you can have it checked out or try a new relay and see if that corrects your problem. I will post links to your fuse boxes, I believe one in trunk and one under hood. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Heated seats (both) on a 2004 Buick Rainer do not work - fuse looks good, are there relays that could be broken?

Short of having a wiring schematic, yes.
The seat motor relay could be either under the hood or on the fuse box under the dashboard.
Because of the load of those motors, carmakers often use relays for them, same as other high load circuits.
However, I would also check the switch to turn them on, because the switch could also be bad.
God bless your efforts.

you dont know how to test a fuse. and are doing electrical work>?
ok , working with out the FSM>?? why do that, its 4 bucks, 1 day pass.

the fuses are best tested in live circuit. 12vdc on both sides, key on.
bingo
or unplugged with any DMM or ohmeter ever made.
resistance range Rx1 or RX2
reads near zero ohms is good
reads infinity , is bad.
open bad, shorted good. end fuse 101;.

Sounds like wiring issues.
Did you first scan the PCM/?
see if you have DTC errors.?
the newer cars monitor power now. so not looking missing that boat

Windows dont work

lost operators, manual.
sun roof, can be 3 things
fuse
jammed
motor. dead.
3 fuse boxes (iml looking on online fsm)
fuse box 3 contains, fuse 32 and 45.
fuse 32 runs , "IG2-SIG-15a)
roof, and
quote:
Radiator fan relay #1
Radiator fan relay #2
Radiator fan relay #3
A/C compressor relay
Seat heater switch (Driver side)
Seat heater switch (Passenger side)
Sliding roof unit
Blower motor relay
unqout

id bet it is not the fuse. see why? the blower, would be dead.
fuse 45: all is only S/R that is the label too.

this box is long and skinny
with 3 relays on left
and
2 fuse top
11 fuses, in horz middle.
10 fuses on bottom row. fuse 29 bottom right.
fuse 39 center right
and top 2 are 51 and 50 , left to right

The fuses are located in the fuse box under the hood, but could be the fan motor too, check if you have power at the motor

Front windshild wiper is not working but back ones are. what is my problem?

The fuse could be blown, or the motor could be bad, or the switch may be bad, or the wiring in between.

Power seats heated seats my both my seats stop moving and the heated seats stop working do to a fuse going bad. i dont have a owners manu; so i dont no what fuse to change

heated seats are controlled by a relay only and the power seats are hooked to a relay and a circuit breaker. The breaker is attached inside the fuse block as well with a metal top stamped 20 or 30 amp

Heater seats dont work but light comes on.

Ok it is obvious since the light is coming on you are getting power to the switch. It could be a heated seat relay. Im fairly sure jeeps use a relay after the switch that is where I would start. Check and see if the Heated seat relay, and fuse are good

92 eldorado coolant fans dont come on

the fans have relays that are located in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. a quick check involves just switching the a/c clutch relay with the fan relay if they turn on when engine is hot the relay is bad. if not that means there is a bad connection or the temp probe is bad. make sure no loose or frayed wires are present. hope this helps. please rate this solution. thank you.
