    it realy shakes the hardest when i cut on the air but it shakes only when it drops under 1000rpm

This could be a case of carbon debris in the throttle body plates and idle air control chambers...simply might just need serviced/cleaned...pull air intake off throttle body and spray with a good throttle body cleaner spray including the idle air ports. Ive also seen motor mounts cause this as this is more of a vibration felt in gear

    If your 626 has over 100,000 miles on it this symptom could be many things. You need to fix all of them even if some of them don't make it run better. After you run through all the fixes you should be good for another 50,000. First, look for any vacuum leaks. Replace any suspicious tubing. Test by using a quick-start spray can. Second, look for rips in any of the air intake tubes. If in doubt replace the part. Third, Do a tuneup. Plugs, wires. 4, Take off the IAC, idle air control, and clean it. 5, Take off the Throttle Body and clean it with TB cleaner. Might as well clean the EGR while you are there. 6. If it still runs rough replace the passenger engine mount. They can be bad and you can't tell. 7. If that makes an improvement keep replacing engine mounts. 8. Replace the pre- O2 sensor. Remember that a car with this many miles can have many things that are wearing out and adding to your problems. Take it slow; one fix at a time to make sure you did it right and to see if you had any effect on the problem. Research everything online or use your manual. Learning is your friend. You can do it. I did.

This is a Catalyst efficiency code. I am not quite understanding why you have a 2.0L and you're giving me a code for a two bank system. If this is a 2.0L car then you will need to replace the exhaust pre-catalytic converter. It bolts up to the exhaust manifold. If this is the 2.5L v6 engine you need to replace the front CAT, by the radiator. This cat also bolts up to the exhaust manifold.

Rough idle after engine is warm


Dirty air filter, dirty throttle body...try 2 bottles of gas line fuel injector cleaner...has your car been parked for awhile? Heet gas additive will work on any low gas tank sludge that you may have. Hope this helps.

Blowed head gasket not enough compression on a 99 madza 626


You need to remove the head and replace the head gasket.
If you do not know how to do this then get a mechanic to fix your engine.

When a/c is turned on idles rough and rpms drop put in neutral and idles fine in gear rough idle when you come to stop already changed egr valve not the problem


See if the idle control is working. I have a protegee that does the same thing, although the cause of mine is diffrent, it is the torque converter clutch not disengaging when stopped. Read the code, and see if there are any. Auto Zone will read it for free and give you a print out.

Idle control valve...

HIGH DOLLAR PART, 400 to 500 smackers....

You can try cleaning it, I beleive that is the same 2.0 liter motor they put in the ford Probe? I could be wrong, I know they 2.0 has issues with the idle control valve..

Anyway, if you want to try cleaning it, try this link... its to a Probe, but should be the same as yours...

If its not the same as that, you can probably search the net and find a site specific to your car... but it really should be the same motor, even the haynes manual for the Probe has sections for both the Probe and 626 in it...

hmmm have you had the timing belt changed? is it due for one? that can cause a some rough idling.
