Check the delay switch for your headlights. It may be shorting out and simply need replaced. Not cheap, but not all that expensive considering other repairs.

Ford f350 diesel engine service light remains on after oil and filter change and disconect of battery

changing your oil has nothing to do with a check engine light. a disconnect of the battery wont clear a code anymore.only way out is to have the code cleared with a scan tool which it will most likely come back on until you have the problem repaired

Where are the auto running light relays, they wont shut off even with the keys removed,i have to disconect the battery to get them to shut off

The headlamp wiring is protected by a circuit breaker. An electrical overload will cause the lamps go on and off, or some cases to remain off. If this happen, check wiring right away.

For FUSE and RELAYS descriptions, check the 1995 Buick Riviera - Owners Manual (page 266 and next).

Hope this help (remember rated this post).

Battery on my 1990 jeep wagoner is being drained when not running

TRY DISCONECTING THE DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT MODULE AN LET IT SIT AND SEE IF THE BATTERY IS DRAINED AGAIN. IT IS ON TOP OF THE RIGHT FENDER WELL AND HAS TWO CONECTORS.

WARRNING IT MAY DISABLE YOUR HEAD LAMPS
DO NOT DRIVE WITH IT DISCONECTED.

REPLACE THE DRL MODULE IF THE BATTERY HOLDS THE CHARGE.

I have a 97 jeep gran cherokee limited that has a relay going bad in it i belive? it is making a clicking noise by the fuse box and drained my battery. is this common?

try disconecting your negative pole off the battery, then use a 12 volt light bulb one contact, with its socket conect one wire to the battery negative and the other one to the negative cable that you disconect of the battery, if the light bulb flashes, you have an open circuit probably caused by the timer that keeps your courtesy lights on for 2 minutes, try opening and shutting all doors and check. this is done with engine off
