The 325 Ci I am driving ran out of gas. I tried to restart it a couple of times hoping I could make it to the gas station but no luck. Triple A brought me some gas but car wouldn't start. Triple A jump started me but the engine sounded terrible and was puttering real bad with no power. Had it toed to my house. Cranks just fine but putters real bad and undrivable. What did I do to it??

If you have the diamond shape key, the battery is not replacable. If you have the square shaped key, the battery is replacable, but that is obvious because of the screws on the back of the remote.if you have the diamond shape key, it is recharged when its inserted into the ignition. If the key hasn't failed, taking a long trip 60 min. or longer should recharge the battery. If there is no change in the operation of the key after your long trip, most likely the key has failed and needs replacement.
ok normally there are only a few screws or bolts that hold the door panel on sometimes they are located on the door handle on the inside somewhere or inside a small pop out panel on the door panel itself. Dont force anything because if you break any of the clips then you are in real trouble and have to either replace the clips or replace the door panel itself. just check and see if on the door handle has any screws or bolts. Most of the time there are just a few screws or bolts and a few clips. If there are clips try to pop them out really easy ok. If you have anymore questions just ask. I hope I helped
