How do I start my 2003 audi a4 without key

follow your red positive battery cable down to the silenoid, then use a screw-driver and bridge the battery cable to the other post on your silenoid. This will turn the motor over.

Will it crank in neutral ? I am assuming you have the purple wire on the correct terminal.

When attempting to start my 97 voyager! The dash board lights come on but does not start until after several tries it starts

a simple test is to use a mutimeter or cheap 12V test light. ground one lead and use the other to probe the small wire going to the starter. have someone turn the key to start. the light should come on-indicating 12V. If it does then the ignition switch is working OK. The starter is getting a "signal" to start. This means the starter or its connections are bad. If no power is getting to the small wire on the starter when cranking then the electrical to the ignition is suspect, this would include wire, conectors, relays and switch.

Start all checks with a good battery and clean tight connections.

94 ford tempo wont start. is my silenoid stuck or do i need a new starter. It does click when i try to start it.

clean the battery terminals if it is multiple clicks when you turn the key. otherwise try tapping the starter and have someone start it at the same time. that will tell you if it is the starter.

Truck wont start at the starter switch sometimes. I turn the key and nothing happens. I can go to the sylinoid (bad spelling) and start it with a screw driver

Probably a bad ignition key contact (worn out).
You can hook a pushbutton across the + to key wire terminal... the start it like an old fashened car (turn on the key and push the starter button....when the ignition contact fails to "make".

Won't start

The clicking sound could be the sound of the silenoid trying to activate a bad starter. See the bendix moves in and out pushing the gear into the flywheel. The starter itself turns the flywheel. So they are a working combo. You sound like you may need a new starter. Here is a tip. Buy original equiptment or get the same one rebuilt buy a shop. Many alternator and starter shops (even tractor repair shop) can handle this type of work in less than a day.
