No power when going up hill

your passing gear linkage may have slipped off. it should be on the side of your carb. or a bad vacuum hose

Hi...the most common cause for loosing engine power on hills is a plugged Catalytic Converter in your exhaust system.
If I helped...please don't forget to rate me...thanks!

My Mercury Villiger's been over heating, it just started im going to replace the thermostat, but when going up hill the van jerks as if it wants to die down on me. When i say jerks i mean shakes really bad...

The jerking could be the EGR valve--as you have a
high vacuum signal under a load, meaning going up hill
and on the gas

The overheating issue could be effecting the ignition
and again cause misfires going up hill

When ever I have any problems I immediately stop
using the vehicle until ALL Problems are resolved

Remember your not working on a ford if I
recall, it is actually a nissan powertrain

I HAVE A 2005 FORD EXPEDITON AND THE AIR WILL NOT BLOW OUT OF THE FRONT VENTS/IT BLOWS OUT OF THE BACK VENTS AND THE DEFROST. ALSO I HAVE THIS THUMPING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR BACK PANEL INSIDE THE CAR...

I had the AC problem too, and they said there was a hole in the hose. They fixed it and now it comes out of the vents as it suppose too, but when I first accelerate to go up a hill, it stops blowing out of the dash vents. Once I have stopped going up the hill, the air starts blowing out again. Weird.

2004 Ford Van A/C quits blowing on acceleration

u have a engine vacuum loss to the AC mode control switch (this switches the different functuions, dash, floor etc.), pull the ac control and check the vacuum, should be around 18-20 inches with a vacuum guage, if it is replace the mode control vacuum switch, if not check the AC vacuum hose for a restriction or a cracked split hose inside engine compartment.
