Prob not a cause of the oil change, i would say just a coincidence. You could have an actual piece of debree or a pennie "for example" caught in between the shift lever. Or you could have a bad neutral safty switch.. which I doubt. You should take the panel off and inspect it. It just pops off. Use a flash light.

Map Sensor or Crank Sensor. If you have a code reader the map sensor should throw a code, the crank sensor most often will not. Both will cause the car to start, idle to around 1,000 R's and then die.

have you replaced the oil sending unit. and check the wire to it, and also i would give the engine a oil pressure test while the sending unit is out, if you have good oil pressure then, i wouldn't worry about oil pump, i would still consider replacing the oil sending unit.

Maybe you got a load of bad gas that has a lot of water or contaminants in it? Pulling and draining the fuel filter to see what comes out of it will give you an idea.

Car will not start

What does your dip stick show? Was the plug tight? Unless you knocked something loose and the engine doesn't turn at all, it sounds like a no oil seize.
