SOURCE: renault scenic drivers electric window motor runs
The track guide that operates the window from the motor is damaged or has jumped track. Remove the inner door panel and operate the window and see which has happened. If it has jumped track check for missing or damaged guide retainers if it is damaged or broken replace it. Normally runs about $15 to $20 for the part. Now if the drive guide is not damaged and it is still not working the gear that drives it is damaged and you will need to replace the motor as this is pressed on and not user replaceable. Good Luck
SOURCE: inner door panel removal, renault megane scenic
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls

Most likely to be a faulty resistor block, which has 3 resistors and a thermal fuse controlling fan speeds 1,2 and 3, maximum speed 4 by-passes the resister block. It may also be poor electrical connections to the resistor block caused by overheating. Renault ask for approximately £350 to carry out repairs, a replacement resistor block will cost £50. If you decide to carry out the repairs yourself, be advised that if you are not competent to carry out such work you, could cause electrical damage or worse an electrical fire.
SOURCE: 2004 1.6 vvt renault scenic smoking and juddering
White smoke is a symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber which usually indicates a blown head gasket. Blue smoke is a symptom of oil burning. Black smoke is a symptom of an overly rich fuel/air mixture. Have the ECU scanned with an OBD2 scan tool. This will retrieve the cade that has been set by the ECU. That code will tell you what part is being effected and where to start looking. If you see white smoke STOP driving this car immediately as serious engine damage will occur if you continue to run the engine. It must be repaired ASAP.
SOURCE: Air Conditioning of my Renault Megane is not
Hi
Have the driver's door window open and the front bonnet open,
we are going to listen for a clicking noise, the noise that we are listening for is the Compressor engagement being activated after three seconds from the control panel.
Start the engine and switch on the air conditioning by pressing the AC button (with a request for maximum cold temperature and the passenger compartment fan running).
If you hear that clicking noise, then it is most likely that you have a leak from the AC system or a possibly in need of a top up do to service of the system not been carried out.
Otherwise if you don't hear that clicking noise then there is a case that the Compressor clutch is not being engaged.
Do to the following reasons
1. fuse blown in the UPC in other terms the fuse box (engine compartment)
2. AC Compressor faulty
3. AC pressure switch faulty
4. If there is not the slightest bit of pressure left in the system which is very unlikely.
I hope this information was somewhat helpful for a real diagnosis test a diagnostic tool is needed.
Enjoy.
