Apparently there is a 125 amp fuse between the + and - on the battery/ fuse area (engine side). Get this changed, and everything should come back.

15A FUSE 4 in the I/P fuse panel is for the dome lamp and radio. 15A FUSE 16 and 10A FUSE 6 also apply to the radio as well as the 25A AUDIO FUSE in the engine compartment fuse box.

1998 Jeep Laredo continuous clicking sound passenger side under dash it runs battery down ignition is off continuous clicking please help thank you

A number of people in the link report the same problem on the Jeep Forum and there are a number of fixes.

I also found this for you.

The problem seems to be a short in one of the rear dome lights, which seems to be affecting two fuse circuits. The temporary solution was to remove one fuse and replace another (blown), and remove the bulb from the bad dome light. I had to remove "fuze#5-15 amps-Interior Lighting", this stopped the clicking noise, I replaced blown fuze#8-15 amp-Overhead Console, keyless Entry ..." This fuse also seems to effect the alarm system (contrary to the documentation), and I think that was what was killing the engine. The problem existed before fuse#8 blew. Removing fuse#5 may have solved the problem, but the other fuse blew while I was testing the dome lights, and the jeep will not start without it.

Found lots of wires bare or broken in all the door wiring harnesses ( in rubber boot that goes to the door)I first checked both fuse 5 and 8 but both o.k. After fixing the broken wires found fuse 8 had blown. Replaced that and all is well again. Thanks for the advise got me looking in the right direction.

. Fuse box located in passenger side door jam...check #8 fuse if its not blown check others...if it is blown, check your radio, and interior lights for good ground
Clicking noise under passenger dash Jeep just shuts down

No power to sterio, over head dome lights, or Dash lights.

I think there should be another fuse for the dash lights and radio and dome (or interior or courtesy it may be designated). Recheck all of those fuses under the dash, I believe one has blown out. This is when a wiring diagram comes in handy-you can see the fuse lay-out, and what circuits each one serves.

I accidentally got the negative and positive leads crossed while changing the battery on a 2000 Kia Sportage and it blew the main power fuse block. I replaced the fuze block and got power for all the...

Most have a fuse block under the hood and one under or at the driver side of the dash....It probably wont be in plain sight without removing a plastic shield...check owners manual for the location. They seem to always put them in a good hidden place away from any danger to the fuses. If you dont have a owners manual I would call kia dealer and ask for location.

I replaced the ignition solenoid on my 1990 ford Taurus 3.0L Now I have no power on the inside anyone know why I don't have power?

Not a guaranteed fix, but sounds like you blew a fuse to the interior of the vehicle. If you didn't disconnect the car battery when attaching the new ignition solonoid, you might have arc'd or shorted out something. I would first check both the engine compartment fuse box and then move to the fuse box within the vehicle and look for something labeled dome light, interior light, radio fuse or to be safe, just check all the fuses by pulling out each one and making sure they are not blown. Good Luck and hope the suggestion helps.

I found a paritally blown fuse. When the fuse blew metal pieces ended up partially making contact. After replacing the fuse everything worked great.

Radio and all dome lights are not working.

interior fuse should be the culprit. Look for the Radio fuse inside (normally 10A red) sometimes labeled CABIN on the fuse layout
