If the serpentine belt is tight and not worn, it's most likely a water pump issue.

2000 Nissan Xterra AC doesnt always cool

A sensor could be the problem but look and make sure you have good electrical connections to the a/c compressor. sometimes they like to short out and cause major problems.

No heat in 02 trailblazer i replaced a lot

do you have a water temperature gauge in the car-what is it reading-you may also have trapped air in the system-run it-make sure its up to operating temp then let it cool down, about an hour and check the coolant level-it may take a few cycles of warming up and cooling down to get the air out-while you're doing this make sure the overflow bottle has plenty of fluid in it to be sucked in while system cools down-cheers Denny

I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra. It is not cooling like it should. I changed the two filters behing the glove box. I checked the pressure and it is good. The compressor is coming on and sounds like the clutch...

When you say you checked the pressure did you connect gauges to the high and low sides to get both pressures, this sounds like it may be low. also what is the temp coming out of the vents. note on really hot days and humid the ac system doesnt cool as good unless the truck is moving down the road or highway and does take a while to cool down. at a stop or sitting or in traffic the ac temp will rise as the condensor needs to be cooled like the engine does, if its not cooling then the temp will not be cold, check the front of condensor for blockage, also make sure the fan is running with ac on. this fan should run when ac compressor is on,maybe clean condensor with water hose blowing from radiator outwardto front bumper, then make sure the hot/cold blend door is closing all the way,a quick test is to turn a/c on, turn temp control to hot and see if it gets hotter then back to cold and it should get colder. this sounds like the system may just be a little low. have an a/c tech check it, you may find its low or nothing is wrong. good day.

I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra and I'm having AC problems. We've replaced the evap. core and expansion valve. I've also replaced the AC lines and the thermo control amplifier. The AC is not nearly as...

A Chiltons/Hanes repair manual for this Xterra will have the A/C schematics you need. When you replaced those parts did you re-charge the system? You may have a refrigerant leak.

The fluid is pink instead of red for the cooling fan in my 2000 lincoln ls v8 I siphoned off the the tank and replaced with new fluid and it soon turned the same color

WHEN HYDRALIC FLUID BREAK DOWN WHILE IN USE CONTROLLING COOLING FAN.IT WILL TURN RED.THE ENGINE HEAT WHAT BREAK IT DOWN. LIKE ENGINE OIL. YOU PUT ENGINE OIL IN BROWN WHEN IT BREAK DOWN WHILE LUBRICATING ENGINE OIL BREAK DOWN IT WILL COME OUT DARK BROWN OR CLOSE TO A BLACK COLOR.
