No pressure on fuel rail valve.relays and fuse good.no sound from pump when key turned. Is there an access panel under the backseat, and how do I remove the seat bottom? (I hate to remove the tank)
Before changing or adding a fuel pump I would check for power getting to the pump connector. I believe this model has an inertia switch in the trunk which if for some reason got tripped it will break the power to the fuel pump not allowing it to come on (a safety device in case of an accident) also if you have an air ride leveling system which was common on these vehicles there is actually a fuel cut off switch inside the trunk area. You usually can access the plug-in to the fuel pump connector from the underside of the car without dropping the tank.
I would purchase and install an electric fuel pump or have one installed. Simple to install, attach to side of car, place in fuel ine and place black wire to battery, only problem, the pump starts pumping immediately when engine is turned on and in case of an accident, it will not shut off as long as the motor is running.
