Question about 1997 Isuzu Rodeo
Piston tdc no1 and follow valves so no1 with both valves closed then look for mark ,seem to remember its up top on the cover somewhere ,and crank keyway points up as well

Get number one piston at tdc and stand by the drivers side wing looking at the cam sprocket you will see a small hole that lines up with a hole in the head its in about the 3 o'clock position put a sutable alen key in the hole in the sprocket to lock the cam.once you are all done jack the 1 front wheel off the ground put the car in 4th gear and turn the wheel to rotate the engine to make sure the valve timing is rite.
