Remove the trim piece around the door handle. there are 4 tabs, one at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock. remove the 2 screws in the indention for closing the door. carefully remove all of the locking pins in the door. there is a special tool for this but if you are careful and take your time 2 screwdrivers will also work. Start in the lower left corner and slowly pry the panel away. you will be able to see the pins as you are pulling away. slide the screwdrivers on either side of the pin and carefully pry open. once all pins are released the small trim piece by the mirror needs to be removed in the same way. there is one pin only. after the trim piece is removed lift the panel up to release it from the window channel

check your wires between the door panel and the cab. ive had this happen 2 or 3 times. you probaly have a broken wire. all power is run through the driverside door panel. the back windows worked and so did the locks on all other doors.

Power windows not working

check for blown fuses?you've most likely done that. open hood and look on the driverside fenderwell for a black main fuse and relay center or box, open the box and look under the lid for locations of relays and fuseslocation the fuse for electric widow and as you look at the fuse, you will see a horseshoe type metal ring inside the plastic 'window' if it's broken(the hORSESHOE} the fuse is bad and needs a new one.there is also a fuse panel located on the driverside of dash, open the door and you should see a removeable plastic cover on the drivers door at dash panel just to the left where the door closes. remove that cover to expose the fuse panel to inspect for blown fuses. thank you for choosing fixya.com

I have no dashlights and fuse is not in the fusebox under the hood so where is the other fuse box?

The other fuse box will be inside cabin, driverside, and either behind a panel about knee height to your left as your sitting in driver seat, or when you open your door and you can see the side of your dash that area could be a ncover for your fuse panel. That is also the drivers side. The panel may be conceled but it is there in 1 of those two places.

How do I remove driverside inside door panel ?

door panel is holding by dozen plastic push pins.
strat from the button. use a screw driver or putty knife. pull the panel towards you. be careful not to damage the push pins. go around the panel toward the door hinger then the otheer direction toward the lock.once you have panel seperated from the door. push up the panel to clear the glass. (it is easier if the window is all the way down). pull back the plastic (don't destory it). you need to put that back later. now can get access to the galss and what ever else you are looking for.

2001 malibu rear driverside window off track

Just take a phillips screw driver, and a good sturdy putty knife, and your fingers, and just pry the plastic away from the metal of the door...

Open the door first, and where the inside door handle there should be 1 or 2 screws, and one near where the handle is to open the door from the inside. Take these out first before attempting to pry off the door panel. The panel is held onto the door by plastic snaps shaped like an enlongagted tooth.

Use COMMON SENSE AND BE GENTLE YET FIRM....

Don't be surprised if you have to get a whole new window motor assembly, alot of times they come as one assembly and seperate parts do not exist. Good Luck!!
