95 Buick evaporator coil

It depends on the problem. Either you don't have enough air passing thru the evap core, or the level of freon is not right, or there is a restriction in the ac lines.
A mechanic would use a set of pressure gauges to check freon flow.

How do I recharge my ac on my 99 Regal?

mcdevito75 here, The low side of you A/C is the side you charge, follow the silver lines commimg out the firewall, they hook up to the evaporator under the dash, look for the charge port on this line from the firewall. The recharge kit you buy will only fit this port, also the port may be covered with a brass ;looking cap un screw this cap and the valve looks like the tire valve. Also follow the chargeing instructions carefully.

You must remove all refrigent from the ac system using a Approved container for removing ac refrigent it is illeage to release refrigent into the air if you take this to your local garage they can drain this for you for short money. After drained using flare nut wrentches remove the steel lines from the unit unbolt the unit and pull it out. reverse this procedure when finshed and racharge the ac with the correct amount of refrigarent

More than likely (and we will hope) it is the oil sending unit. In comparison it is a very cheap and quick fix to replacing the oil pump. Auto Zone has a pretty good componet location section that has tips for replacement if you cant find the sending unit or the oil pump. Try that first it may save you a lot of work.

AC not cold on 93 Buick Regal Custom 3.8l

hi, it could be overcharged and frozen solid, or clogged with debris, thus air cant flow through the coil and you get very little cooling, they make this areosol cleaner solution at the auto parts store that supposedly cleans the coil under the dash, you have to drill a small hole in the housing of the evaporator and spray that stufff in there and its supposed to dissolve the debris if that doesent work try exhausing some of the refrigerant out of the system in small increments so the compressor cycles on and off, not on all the time continuously. good luck!
